I wish I had been there. Really I believe what is meant when saying that God may not ascribe to the same "logical constraints" as men is that God is almost in a different dimension of sorts. His line of thought is completely different and out of this world. He is not subject to human thought as he is the supposed ruler of all.

In addition I believe that God allows bad things to happen because if he made everything "good" than the concept of man's free will would be contested. Man would not be able to react to situations accordingly as all bad things have been pacified or "screened" by God. This point-of-view is not necessarily Theistic but just says that natural disasters can occur and still allow man free-will.

I don't quite understand the Atheistic Team's counter-argument but the debate is one of great age and length. People will always continue to argue about this topic.

That is really interesting insight into Buddhism and its ideas of liberation. I never thought of it like that.

A man can never be only judged where he is standing today but also by how much dreams he is carrying for tomorrow and determination with which he would outshine tomorrow.

Your knowledge seems going in right direction and as you are proceeding. Go on.
"Beyond a certain point there is no return. This point has to be reached." -Franz Kafka

Sometimes if you have time we can discuss about Buddhism and spirituality if you wish.

Hi everyone! First, I want to say that I am very happy so many of you seem to have enjoyed the symposium and gotten a lot out of it. Second, I wanted to bring the above comment to your attention, since it in fact proves Dr. Asher's point about how widespread the effort is to rewrite the history of the Taj Mahal in certain circles (and also shows how they are using the internet to help do this). If you do a google search on Marvin Mills (or also Marvin Miller) you will see that a lot of references come up to him regarding the "true" history of the Taj Mahal, and supposedly he is a professor of architecture at Pratt who has "investigated" this matter. Except he isn't currently a professor there, and as far as I know, he has never worked there. I don't actually think he exists. He is a figure created by certain groups to legitimize their claims--and the fact that they found this blog and felt the need to leave the above comment is very interesting, I think.
